Maria Elena Wood

María Wood Producciones -formerly Igenio Visual- was formed in 2005 in order to produce high-quality films and television series, with culturally and socially relevant themes. Currently, Maria Wood Producciones has film and television projects for different markets, with partners and clients such as Amazon Studios, ZDF Enterprises, The Mediapro Studio US Hispanics, Sony Music, Sony Pictures, WarnerMedia, and with Chilean TV channels such as Mega Media and TVN.

Its founder, producer and documentary filmmaker María Elena Wood, directed the documentaries "La hija del general" (2005) and "Locas Mujeres" (2011) and produced the award-winning documentary series "Nuestro Siglo" (1999). Working with Wood Producciones, she produced the series "Ramona" (2017). In partnership with Invercine (Invercine & Wood), she produced the fiction series "Dignity" (2019), "Mary & Mike" (2018), and is currently the executive producer of "News of a Kidnapping" (in production), a TV series produced for Amazon Studios. Patricio Pereira

He currently works as Executive Producer at Invercine & Wood. He produced films such as "Machuca", "La Buena Vida" and "Violeta se fue a los cielos" (Sundance 2012) by Andrés Wood. And the documentaries "La hija del general" and "Locas Mujeres" (Pedro Sienna Award 2012). In television he stands out in the production of the acclaimed series "Los 80" (Canal 13) in its seven seasons, in "Ecos del desierto" (CHV), "Pulseras Rojas" (TVN), "Ramona" (Fipa de Oro Award 2017), the series "Mary & Mike" (2018) and "Dignidad" (2019). He is currently executive producer and line producer of the series in pre-production "Noticia de un secuestro" (2022) produced for Amazon Prime Video.

Bio

Maximilian Scheleff

Chilean filmmaker and producer. His work includes the narrative short film "Hombre" (2017, dir. Juan Pablo Arias Muñoz), which won the award for Best Ibero-American Short Film at the 40th Elche International Film Festival in Spain and the "Prix Courtoujours" at the 30th Cinélatino Rencontres de Toulouse in France, and the non-fiction series "Kulmapu" (season 1) and "Por la Razón y la Ciencia" (season 3), both produced by 3 Tercios for CNNChile. He has also worked as Junior Executive Producer for Invercine & Wood, where he participated in the production of narrative series such as "Dignidad" (2019) and the soon to be released on Amazon Prime Video, "Noticia de un Secuestro". He currently works as Production Coordinator at María Wood Producciones and is the producer of the documentary "I Must Away" (2023, dir. Dennis Harvey) in co-production with Plainsong (Ireland) and Story Ltd (Sweden).
